Dear customers and partners,

The year 2024 is drawing to a close. As the first snowflakes fall softly from the sky and the Christmas lights bathe the streets in a warm glow, we at Swiss Media Design would like to pause for a moment. It has been a year full of challenges, successes and valuable experiences - and we would like to take you on a short journey through our highlights.

A year full of growth, change and new horizons
When we look back on the past few months, we see many moments that have made us stronger as a team. 2024 was characterised by growth, passion and creative challenges. But it was also a year of change - with ups and downs that challenged us, but also shaped us. In the end, many things developed in a positive direction, which we are particularly proud of.

We have realised projects that went far beyond mere figures and deadlines. Every order tells its own story - from the initial idea to successful completion. We have written these stories together with you.

An absolute highlight of the year was our Swiss trip, during which we were able to document 10 different properties throughout Switzerland. Using a mixture of drone shots and classic photography, we were able to showcase the properties in an impressive way. The project culminated in the creation of an appealing website that perfectly reflects the beauty and uniqueness of the properties.

Our collaboration with freelancers has reached a new dimension this year. By exchanging ideas with creative minds from outside, we have received fresh impetus and gained new perspectives. Thinking outside the box has inspired us and further improved the quality of our work. It is precisely these kinds of synergies that we want to utilise even more in the future.

What particularly characterised us in 2024
In addition to our daily project work, we have always taken time to pause and look ahead. Because in a fast-moving world, it is important to act strategically. We have invested a lot of time in our internal processes to become even faster and more efficient for you. 2024 was a year of reflection for us, but also of action.

We can proudly say that we have achieved our goals for 2024. We have successfully implemented the projects that we set out to do at the start of the year. What's more, we have achieved an uptime of over 98% for the websites we manage - important proof of reliability and stability in the digital space. This is exactly what our customers expect, and we continue to attach great importance to this.

Another important topic for us this year was cybersecurity. We have learnt a lot and greatly expanded our knowledge in this area. Security has become an even more central component of our projects, as we know how important it is to protect data in the digital world.

We have also reached an important technical milestone: the upgrade of our server at Hostpoint. We have switched from a Managed Flex Server M to a Managed Flex Server L. This gives us more performance, greater stability and an even faster infrastructure, which benefits our customers.

A turn of the year full of possibilities
While many take a break during the Christmas holidays, we use the time differently. From 21 December 2024 to 30 December 2025, we will be relocating our workplace to England. But don't worry, we will still be available for you. While we take care of bookkeeping, collect receipts and reorganise our processes in the background, customer service will remain the same.

Our new project is particularly exciting: setting up an Airbnb project in England. This task not only brings new perspectives, but also many creative impulses. We are gathering all these impressions and ideas to share with you in the new year. There's a lot to come - we can promise you that right now.

What will 2025 bring?
In January, we start with a fresh look at the coming year. The first week of January is all about planning. We will define new goals, identify trends and consider how we can support our customers even better. We not only have your wishes in mind, but also the courage to surprise you with new ideas.

In 2025, we don't just want to be a service provider. We want to be a driving force, a companion and a partner who breaks new ground together with you. We will tell you exactly what is coming in the new year - but one thing is certain: we have big plans.

Over the past ten years, Swiss Media Design has travelled a remarkable journey. From our first tentative steps as a small agency to our current position as a recognised partner for full-service marketing solutions, each stage has been marked by learning moments, successes and a relentless drive to continuously improve.

Our foundation was less of a drumbeat than a quiet plucking of the strings of possibility. With a small but dedicated team and a great deal of passion for design and marketing, we took our first step into the world of advertising agencies. Even then, our aim was not just to be a service provider, but rather a partner and companion for our clients.

The journey has not always been easy. The digital landscape is changing rapidly, and with it the requirements and wishes of our customers. But it is precisely these challenges that have made us stronger. They have taught us to remain flexible, to keep learning and to always find the best solution for our customers. Our services have expanded and deepened, from web design and corporate identity to comprehensive marketing strategies and search engine optimisation.
