A bank building glowing blue, modelled as a wireframe on a circuit board, with a rising curve in front of it

Anyone who sells digitalisation to their clients must lead by example within their own business. That is why I have taken a decision which you will now see reflected on my invoices: Swiss Media Design is now processing its payments via Amnis, a licensed payment institution specialising in corporate clients and based in Liechtenstein.

The reasoning behind it

An agency thrives on the time spent on projects, not on administration. That is precisely where the change comes in. The new infrastructure automatically matches every incoming payment to the correct invoice using the QR reference, linked directly to my accounts, without manual data entry and without switching between systems. Added to this are virtual company cards with their own spending limits for software licences and advertising budgets, as well as modern interfaces that integrate seamlessly into my automation processes.

It is the same logic I apply in client projects as well: Recurring processes should be automated, so that time and focus are directed towards where they create value. My own banking was the next logical step.

The new bank details

Account holder: Swiss Media Design GmbH, Bahnhofstrasse 49, 9470 Buchs
IBAN: LI95 3011 1027 7790 0000 3
Bank: Amnis Europe AG

The IBAN begins with LI, and that is correct: Liechtenstein is part of the Swiss payment area. QR invoices, bank transfers and e-banking work in exactly the same way as with a CH-IBAN, with no international fees and no extra effort. Amnis is regulated by the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority and operates to the same standards as a bank.

What will change for you

Very little, actually. Simply scan the QR code on the invoice as usual using your banking app; all the details are already stored there. If you’re using a saved payment template, you’ll just need to update the IBAN once. Invoices you’ve already received remain valid as they are and can be paid using the details printed on them.

If your bank has a query the first time, just send me a quick message, and I’ll sort it out straight away.

Thank you very much for your trust. I’ll put the time I’ve saved to good use where it belongs: in your projects.
